I just wanted to follow-up with you and thank you for an outstanding chef tour (inspite of the weather!) It really was the highlight of our trip. To meet the small farmers and taste the freshest foods possible was a joy.

The restaurants you suggested and made reservations for were all outstanding. I have forgotten the names but the Greek restaurant was especially great. When we arrived and gave your name for the reservation, I saw the host move 3 people from a table right in front of the kitchen and give the table to us! Obviously your name carries a lot of clout! We loved being able to watch all the action in the kitchen. Unfortunately we were a little late arriving at the restaurant while driving the Ocean Road and the kitchen was closed. Next time!

Can Pam & I thank you for looking after us in Melbourne we enjoyed the City very much. The cricket on Friday afternoon was superb as was the MCG but the wind was cold. On Saturday we walked the City circuit and on Sunday we went to Docklands. Sunday evening we took your advise and went to Donovans at St Kilda and had a delightful meal.

Many thanks for your instructions on leaving Melbourne and also for when we left Phillip Island. The route you suggested was very easy .We thought both Mornington and St Martha were charming little towns and can see why you would want to set up a permament home there. We also went up Arthurs Seat and had good but hazy views across the bay. Finally the ferry was vey easy took all the stress out of driving around Melbourne. We are now on the Great Ocean Road enjoying more spectacular scenery.

I found MPT on the web and arranged for a private tour of Melbourne.  Josh
picked the four of us up at our cruise ship, and in the few hours we toured this beautiful, friendly, delightful, and decidedly liveable city, we fell in love with it.   Josh epitomizes the Aussie enthusiasm for the life we were hoping to encounter.   He also arranged a tour guide for us in Sydney, also a top-notch day.  My companions and I highly recommend MPT.  We want to return!

At the last minute my husband and I decided to take a trip to Australia.  We were visiting our daughter in New Zealand and found ourselves with some extra time.  Melbourne had always been on our list to visit so we decided why not now.  As this was the last minute I had done little research and just got really lucky when I picked Melbourne Private Tours off the Internet.  On arrival in Melbourne we were met at our hotel and taken on a day tour of the city.  It was fabulous.  We touched on just about everything you could possibly want to see.  The next day on our own we went back to the places that seemed of interest to us and just lost ourselves in the city.  Without MPT we would not have seen or enjoyed Melbourne nearly as much as we did.  On our last night there we did Melbourne at Night.  I would highly recommend you do this as Melbourne takes on a whole different personality when the sun goes down – absolutely wonderful.

We cannot say enough good things about Melbourne Private Tours.  We have recommended them to anyone who is planning on visiting Melbourne.

Our few days with MPT just wet our appetite to see more of Melbourne and its surrounding areas and most certainly would only use Melbourne Private Tours.
