Melbourne Private Tours will take you directly to the door of the vineyard and behind the scenes to the meet the wine-maker. Here you’ll learn of wine making techniques before trying your hand at this art yourself!

What’s the soil got to do with a good wine? Plenty apparently. And the oak – what does it really matter? Our head winemaker will let you in on ten generations of family blending secrets.

Listen, taste and learn. Then put on your wine-makers hat as you take the test tube and decide what the next stage will be. Assume the role of cellar master, discuss and decide on the style and get to work. Of course, you’ll be guided by the wine-maker who’ll do his best to keep you on the right track!

Present your wine for judging and then it’s time to celebrate –  a long lunch in the barrel room along with the chance to taste other blends is the perfect end to all your hard work

Whilst you work on blending the perfect wine, let us look after the kids. Wombats, wallabies, kangaroos and koalas – they’re just around the corner.  We’ll teach them all there is to know about our furry friends.
