Yes, all our tours can be custom designed to better suit the needs of any family.
Do you offer shared tours or can we join another group?
We only offer private tours.
What level of fitness do I need for your walking tours?
These can be tailored to suit any fitness level.
Can we go shopping as part of your city tour?
Absolutely! We will work with you in designing the perfect shopping experience whether be boutiques, larger malls or centres or visiting our diverse range of local designers.
Can you cater for dietary requirements and specific cuisine requests? E.g. Halal, Chinese, Indian meals.
Yes, please let us know your dietary requirements and we can cater for these.
Do you offer tours in languages other than English?
Yes, we offer foreign language translators in a number of languages including Russian, Portuguese, Mandarin, Spanish.
Are your tours / vehicles wheelchair friendly?
We can certainly accommodate and we have vehicles and tour guides who are well equipped for any need – please let us know upon booking.
When is the best time to visit Melbourne for snow / skiing?
We recommend only in July and August for the best possibility of seeing snow.
I’m travelling with my son / daughter, do you have a child seat available?
Yes, please advise us of your child’s age and we will ensure we have a child seat in the vehicle to suit at no additional charge.
What happens in the case of bad weather?
Tours continue to operate in all weather twelve months of the year. Tours that include a flight component may have the flight cancelled on very rare occasions and in this event the cost of the flight will be refunded.
Do your tours have a Driver and a Guide?
Melbourne Private Tours with groups under 11 guests have a professional ‘Driver / Guide’ escorting the guests. For groups larger than 11 guests, a driver and a guide are provided.
How can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made by contacting . A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking and full pre-payment is required prior to departure.
We are not interested in a full tour but we would like a driver and vehicle to provide a transfer from Point A to Point B.
This is not a problem and we will tailor a quote accordingly.

Tours operate every day of the year.
We will have our luggage with us, is there space for it in the vehicle?
Yes, please advise us upon booking and alert us to how much luggage you will have with you so we can ensure we can accommodate this.
How does the carbon emissions offset option work?
MPT supports the Greenfleet initiative by donating funds to directly offset our carbon emissions. Guests have the opportunity to make an additional contribution.
